A lay-down plate mount that actually lays the plate down.

We call it the Legit Lay Down for a reason. A lot of mounts are advertised as "lay down," but once they're installed, the plate is still sticking up at a steep angle.

The Legit Lay Down License Plate Mount was designed specifically to clean up the rear of the bike while solving some of the problems that come with chopping the rear fender.

Unlike other lay-down mounts, ours positions the license plate farther forward on the fender so it doesn't interfere with the fender chop or hang over the back edge.

The bracket also follows the shape and contour of the factory fender, keeping the plate laid down clean instead of sticking up at an awkward angle like other lay down plates still do.

For chopped fender setups that need a taillight solution, the mount is available in versions designed to accept either a 5" or 6" LED brake light strip.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Reuse the factory rubber isolator pad from your original license plate mount during installation.

License plate hole sizes and locations can vary slightly from state to state. The supplied license plate bolts are M6 metric and use a 4mm Allen.

LED TAILLIGHT

The LED brake light strip shown in our photos is the same style we use on our bikes. The mount will also accept other 5" or 6" LED strips, depending on which version you select.
